The Bone War Cemetery is a resting places of the brave British soldiers who died in the Second World War. It is at an easy distance of 5 km from Annaba city. Historically, when the Allied soldiers landed on the coastlands of Algeria during the month of November 1942 and invaded Tunisia, they occupied this strategic location in the mountains. They built an airfield here as well as many supplies units. Here you can still see the graves of all 868 soldiers who fell in battle. Visit hours are 7 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm. To come here you need to take Route N44 that runs between Constantine and Annaba.
