These are man old buildings here dating back to 1975, which was the year of the country’s independence. Hotel de’ville is the city hall and government building which is a nice building with Arabian arches, Tourism Bureau office building which also is the home of the countries only museum in the form of some arts and handicrafts in a few rooms, Hotel Continental which is the oldest hotel in the city and in the country, and lastly Mainson de Tabac which is the prettiest building here made in the Swahili style of architecture. L’Historil, the Mask, Planette Hollywood, and the Beverly Café are the best restaurants here where on an average meals will cost from 2000 to 6000 Fdj.
