The Elephant Orphanage gives the rare opportunity to have an uninhibited view the majestic giants – Elephants. Born from one family’s passion for Kenya and its wilderness, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is today the most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world and one of the pioneering conservation organisations for wildlife and habitat protection in East Africa. The only time that is possible to see the elephants is from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. This is the time when the keepers bring the elephants to a cordoned area to play, feed, and to show the public how well they are doing.
