Marvel the beautiful Moroccan Art at La Bahia Palace

The Palais De la Bahia is the one of the greatest works of the Moroccan artisans as it depicts the 14 years of hard work on its creation and architecture. The Bahia Palace is both a palace and a beautiful set of gardens. The Palace was constructed for the personal use of Sultan and even one witness the name of one of the wives, on the walls. The main highlight of this palace is its beautiful and sophisticated stucco work and the famous zellij which is a polychrome mosaic created with paint, inlaid woodwork ceilings. The complex also accommodates numerous fountains surrounded by jasmine, orange & cypress trees. The older part of the palace known as the Dar Si Moussa have many baroque features like rooms embellished with ceramic tiles. Presently, this palace serves as a formal venue for receiving special guests and foreign dignitaries.

Opening Hours: Saturday to Thursday- 8:45am to 11:45am and 2:45pm to 5:45pm

Friday- 8:45am to 11:30am, 3:00pm to 5:45pm.

Admission Tickets: 10 Dirhams per person.

Location: Rue Bahia Bab Mellah, Marrakech, Morrocco.
