This is perhaps the best place that one should come to when in the city and is one of the reasons why the city of Kigali is so famous. The variety of wildlife found here is amazing and staggering. The terrain here is varying and changes from grasslands to mountainous forests. Duration of visit is 4 hours on average. Animals you can see here are antelopes, baboons, warthogs, hippos and more. Entrance fee is $30 including services of a guide. The distance from the city is 117 km and the only way to come here from the city is by a private car. The route you should take is the KG 9 Avenue that connects the city to the Park. This National Park is one of the heritage sites of the country and is worth visiting. Time taken to travel to the park is 2 hours and 11 minutes.
