You must definitely visit this museum if you wish to view dwellings that are constructed so authentically that they reflect traditional life in several parts of Tanzania. Every house is surrounded by crops and typical items. Traditional skills like carving, pottery and weaving are demonstrated here. The main idea behind this project is demonstrating the social and architectural traditions of the nation. Taking a local guide to the museum is a good idea as he would bring things to life. It is good fun to understand each and every hut here. There is a troupe of energetic dancers, musicians and singers who perform a traditional dance here to entertain the visitors. They wouldn’t hesitate to get the visitors involved for dancing with them. There are some tribal dances too in the afternoon.
