The sanctuary is home for about 150 species of birds and 5 species of primates. Located 35 kms away from Agartala, the sanctuary also has the crab eating Mongoose and famous spectacle monkey.

- It has many activities for you to enjoy like paddle boating, joy ride on elephant’s back, toy train ride and rowing boats in the lake.
- It also have Forest Dark bungalow called Absarika and 5 cottages inside it for accommodation.
You can hire a taxi and can easily reach here for a full day of fun and entertainment.
Timings: Except on Friday the sanctuary can be visited on all other week days from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Tickets: The entry fee for the adult is Rs.3, For children below 5 years it is Rs 1 and for heavy motor vehicle and light motor vehicle it is Rs 10 and Rs 8 respectively.
For carrying still cameras you have to pay Rs.10 per day and for video cameras it is Rs.50 per day. "
