Mehtab Bagh is the last of the 11 Mughal built gardens constructed under Mughal emperor Babur. The garden was destroyed due to constant flooding, however to prevent eroding of the soil from underneath the Taj Mahal, the garden has been restored. This garden of 90,000 sq meter area is located along the northern arena of Taj Mahal and on the opposite side of the Yamuna River.
