A rehab center and home to around 250 Asiatic sloth bear spanning in 17 hectares of land amidst Soor Sarovar Bird Sanctuary. It is the largest rescue rehab centre for Asiatic sloth bear in the world. 14 kilometer ahead of the bear sanctuary towards Mathura, there is another rescue rehab centre but that is for Elephants. Currently 7 rescued elephants are the permanent resident of the centre. Seeing the world famous crying elephant Raju is also a must see attraction of the elephant rehab. Millions have been praying for his recovery from the traumas since his rescue operation was posted in a social media. Initial funding by World society for protection of animals helped in starting the project. Later on keeping in account the great work done by the volunteers, many organizations and individuals have come forward to help in improving the centre. Tourists not only get to learn in detail about the animals but they can also actively participate or volunteer in helping in the rehabilitation of the sloth bears and elephants.

How to Reach: It’s a 40 minutes’ drive away from Taj Mahal and 30 minutes’ drive from Idhgah Bus station. One can hire a cab or an auto to reach there.
