Local veterans believe that real Agra can only be experienced if they take a stroll through the old streets of Agra. Smell of spices like cardamom, clove, and turmeric hover all across the market area. The hustle and bustle of the old and charming world of Purani Agra gives a nostalgic feeling to anyone entering this area. The people of this area are still trying their best in their own way to keep the old world of handloom and art alive through practice and business. The designs include intricate glass and stitch work inspired by the Mughal art and with touch of modern hints here and there.
