It is a beautiful culmination of Indo-Persian architecture built in 1635 containing the tomb of a scholar & poet Allama Afzal Khan Mullah, the then prime minister of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and situated on the bank of Yamuna river. It is famous for its decorated work using Chinese glazed tiles popularly known as ‘Chini’. The tomb is the sole Persian design monument in India and has Islamic motifs carved all along the walls of the area. The three storied octagonal shaped building is constructed out of brown stone. The multi colored use of tiles is a unique masterpiece in itself and only one of a kind.
