Shinjuku is a special ward located in Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. It is a major commercial and administrative centre, housing the busiest train station in the world (Shinjuku Station) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the administration centre for the government of Tokyo. This is an area of huge business, commercial, and entertainment center. The area is divided into three areas namely the West Exit area, South Exit area and East Exit area.

The specialty of Shinjuku is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office, NTT DoCoMo building, Shinjuku Gyoen National garden, Tokyo opera city which comes in the West Exit and South Exit area. The East Exit area consists of numerous shopping centers such as Keio, Lumine, Marui, Odakyu etc. The area also has many department stores such as Isetan, Takashimaya, Odakyu, Keio, Lumine, Mylord etc. Besides there is a collection of Electronics Stores such as Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera and Yamada Denki. The restaurants and cafes are on the eastern side of the area. One of the world’s crowded railway stations is the Shinjuku Station, where more than two million passengers stroll every day.
