A day in Kuala Lumpur is the best way to spend some time away from the hustle bustle of the city. It’s a free flight aviary and the most popular attraction of Kuala Lumpur. The Bird Park accommodates 3,000 birds of nearly 200 species of local and foreign birds. The environment created for the bird is reminiscent of the natural habitat of the birds. The park is bifurcated into four zones as Zone 1, 2, 3 and 4. The Bird park also has a Peacock Gift Shop, Sandwich Bar, Hornbill Gift Shop, Feathered Friends Photo Booth and Flamingo & Parrot Kiosk that that makes the park’s experience more memorable. The Zone 1 & 2 are the free flight zones, Zone 3 is known as the Hornbill Park and the Zone 4 accommodates birds which are kept in separate cages and mini aviaries. The main concept behind the free flight feature of the park is that it allows the birds to breed naturally in this aviary. One more highlight other then park’s birds is their Hornbill Restaurant and Café which offers a unique Malay gastronomic experience through its warm and rustic ambiance.
