Sin Sze Si Ya Temple is a small yet authentic temple set in the city of Kuala Lumpur. This temple is the oldest temple of the Tao religion. The temple is a true epitome of the marvels of Chinese architecture which are purely based on the principles of Feng Shui. The temple is dedicated to the main deities of Kuala Lumpur. The interiors of this temple are quite similar to the other Chinese temples as the interiors of the temple have a main hall and the two side halls that also includes suave roof structure.

Sin Sze Si Ya Temple serves as the cultural center of the Chinese community in Kuala Lumpur as it used to be the main venue for the meetings regarding the Chinese community by different Chinese leaders. This temple has got its roots from the era of the Civil War. The temple features many shrines of gods onside the temple. The best time to visit this temple is during Chinese new year as the temple is swarmed with people. Don’t forget to seek good fortune by encircling three times under the main altar and asking your future through kao chim (fortune-telling sticks)
