Built in the 13th century, The Khuzam Palace is one of the most important historical sites of Jeddah. The palace is the reflection of modern architecture and is a beautiful landmark. The palace was named after Khuzama, which in Arabic means lavender, as the palace was surrounded by it everywhere. This building is more special to Jeddah as it is the first building constructed from iron and cement. The construction was ordered by the King Andulaziz, when he resided in the Nassif House for some period of time.

The Khuzam Palace also has one of the most important museum in Saudi Arabia. The palace contains a collection of antiques, dishes, sticks, personal office and mirrors which belonged to the King Abdulaziz. The palace also has a range of archaeological techniques from the 13th century, which now has been transferred to museum and antiques agency and the regional museum.

Morning: 08:00 to 12:00 hours.
Evening: 17:00 to 19:00 hours.
