Bukhansan and Dobongsan are some of the most popular mountains in the Seoul area, their granite peaks rising up over the city skyline in an ever-present reminder that nature is only a few steps away from urban life. You will find more than 1000 species of plants and animals that call this the slopes of the mountains and the streams their home. There are 21 different sections of the Bukhansan and they all have a different story to tell. This is a trek you need to be prepared for. But the rewards are unlike any other. The beauty and the grandness of the landscape will catch you off-guard and you will come across the most exotic scenes during your hike.
