Hangang is Seoul’s most iconic symbol. Also known as the Han River, the waterway stretches up to nearly 2KM wide in places. It winds down the mountains, through the city and goes out into the Yellow sea. The entire river bank, spanning nearly nine million square kilometres, is enclosed by 12 parks along its stretch for recreational and relaxing activities for the visitors. The best way to experience this attraction is to travel the stretch of the river via a bicycle. There are plenty of bike rental kiosks put up inside the Hangang parks and has been a greatly encouraged activity by the government to promote eco-friendly tourism. While you pedal along, you will come across the differently themed parks like the Yeouido, and Banpo parks. For a touch of adventure, this place is a must visit.
