The Jogyesa Buddhist Temple IT is always buzzing with tourists and locals. It is a Zen Buddhist temple and is located in the middle of Seoul’s business high rise buildings district. The compound of the sacred Buddhist Temple, nearly 500 years old, is flanked by ancient trees and is one of the best sights of the area. You will find colourful banners and paper steamers made from paper. Take a bit of spiritual relief within and lose yourself within the magnificent structure that is a stark contrast of what the architecture of today’s Korea is. No doubt, one of the most satisfying sights and a playground for the shutterbug in you, Jogyesha Buddhist Temple is a good relief from the mundane city sights.
