The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is the first museum to collect miniatures in Asia. It was founded by Mr Lin Wen-ren and his wife at Zhongshan District in Taipei. It is the first miniature museum in Asia showing dollhouses and cut-away views of rooms from around the world. The delicate Rose Mansion is the crown jewel of the collection. The founders travelled the world to build up their impressive collection of fine miniatures. Works from Europe and America join local creations to present a Lilliputian world big in wonder. The Museum is ranked second in the world, with a collection of nearly 200 items.
