Antalya's Hıdırlık Kulesi is a point of interest tower of brownish stone where Kaleiçi (Old Antalya) meets Karaalioğlu Parkı. The 14-meter-high tower, set in a little stop, neglects the falez (precipices) of Antalya, and the Roman (Yacht) Harbor. Its establishments are said to date from the first or second century AD/CE. Its motivation is something of a puzzle. The basic conviction is that it was fabricated as a tomb for an incredible pioneer. Bits of fresco inside empower this guess. To one side and right of the entryway are 12 hatchets like themes cut into the stone (six on every side), which show the significance of the individual entombed. Its reason today is to remain there, where it has for two centuries, and look beautiful, tying down the western furthest point of Karaalioğlu Park, and giving an objective to strollers and fine perspectives—particularly at dusk—over the Gulf of Antalya.
