The zoo is several hectares in area and there are almost 150 different animal species living in the zoo. In spring the zoo is full of life. The bears have woken from winter sleep and the first animal babies of the year are taking their first steps. The definite sign of spring is when the peacocks emerge from their winter dwellings.
