Amsterdam was one of the famous diamond production centers in Europe. Diamond museum is the largest firm in Amsterdam dealing with Diamond polishing and trading. It is situated in the Museumplein Street and this was initiated by Ben Meier of Coster Diamonds in 2007. The guides at the museum will give the explanation on how the diamonds were geographically created and the period of the processing to the finished product.The visit starts with a short film which gives you the basics about Diamonds In the wall there are two big buttons that will prompt you to choose between two languages that are Dutch and English. Also museum provides printed version of this film in many languages. The museum gives an idea about different stages of the journey of a diamond that starts from 200 kilometers under the earth and ends up in fully furnished diamond. One can also witness the specialists engaged in the work of making shining jewels. This is surely a paradise for ladies who are addicted to diamond ornaments.The museum is more attractive and informative as compared to other museums in Amsterdam.
