Pointe-à-Callière Museum is a famous archaeology and history museum in Old Montreal. The museum houses the collections of artefacts from the First Nations of the Montreal region that depicts how various cultures coexisted and interacted in the past, and how the French and British regimes influenced the history of this territory over the years. The museum is set on a site bearing evidence of over 1,000 years of human activities and on the very birthplace of Montreal. The permanent exhibitions include Where Montreal was Born, Multimedia Show, Pirates or Privateers, Archaeo-adventure and the Youville Pumping Station. The museum also showcases two to three new local or international temporary exhibitions every year.

Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 to 17:00 hours
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 to 17:00 hours
Mondays: Closed
