Spend an afternoon close to nature’s wildlife at the world’s largest metropolitan zoo. The Bronx Zoo serves as a home to some 6,000 animals representing about 650 species from around the world. The Bronx Zoo is part of an integrated system of four zoos and one aquarium managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society.

The famous attractions of this zoo are:
1. 4-D Theatre Double Feature: This 4-D theatre showcase all the animal related Hollywood flicks like Ice Age, Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Dora and Diego's and many more with the combination of a high-definition 3-D film and 4-D effects such as wind, mist, scents and dramatic lighting to take its audience on a multi-sensory journey.
2. Jungle World: The Jungle World is a home to the animals from the tropics. There is also an Asian Jungle in it where the atmosphere is filled with the warm air suitable for otters, gibbons, and a tapir and 800 other critters that live in mangroves and beaches.
3. Madagascar: This is the place where visitor’s can meet the one-of-a-kind wildlife of the Madagascar. The animals included are leaping lemurs, hissing cockroaches and cave dwelling crocodiles. The towering baobobs and octopus trees, forested deserts, and other enchanting habitats are recreated to give the same feeling of Madagascar.
4. Tiger Mountain: This attraction is a habitat recreated as the Russian Far East for the Siberian tigers. They also showcase the Zoo’s animal enrichment program to discover how these tigers are trained and foraging games that helps these big cats stay fit and stimulated.
5. World Of Reptiles: Visitors can witness very unique reptiles like frogs that look like moss, turtles with snouts like pigs, pythons that grow to 22 feet and many more. The main superstars at the World of Reptiles are Cuban crocs, green tree monitors, poison dart frogs, and many more.
