The Wittunga botanical garden is one among the three other botanical gardens in Australia. The Wittunga Garden is located at Shepherd’s Hill road, Blackwood. The vivid plant life is seen in its full glory during the spring. Exotic plant species are on display here. Winding pathways through the Terrace and Sand plain garden gives an opportunity to the visitors to look at some of the most exotic and spectacular plant life.

The park also offers various seating like the rotunda, lawns for picnics and trails to view the botanical beauty. The main attraction of the botanical garden is the splendid lake. The botanical garden also homes several of the endangered species of magnificent butterflies.
A Wittunga naming walk, inaugurated in 2001 also attracts many of the tourists. The walk demonstrates the scientific names of plants and their origins. Twenty-four interpretive signage find their place amidst the relevant beautiful plant.

Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 4 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10.am to 5pm
During daylight savings: 10am-6pm.
Entry Fee: The entry is Free. Free guided walks on Tuesday at 10.30 am.
