The parliament house of South Australia is regarded as one of the most important landmarks in the history of mankind. The old and new parliament house have been listed in the list of heritage buildings. Visitors are free to observe the question session while the parliament is in session. The question time starts at 2 pm and in the house of Assembly and at 2.15 in the legislative council. The sessions are open to the public, free of charge. Groups need to make a prior booking, as the seating is limited.

The public gallery in both the Parliament house is also open to the public and free of charge, when the parliament is in session. The accessible entrance to Parliament House is available via the Old Parliament House doors on North Terrace. There is an intercom at the entrance doors for your convenience. New Parliament House is located on one of Adelaide's major intersections (North Terrace and King William Street) and is a major civic landmark with a very robust existence.

Entry fee: Entry to the parliament is free. You may also attend the question time and Parliament sitting.
