The Shrine of Remembrance was built as a memorial to the men as well as women of Victoria who served in World War I and presently it is a memorial to all Australians who have served in war. So this place is of utmost importance where the history unfolds with so many battles of the past that took away brave souls. This is one of the places that are related to the emotions of the Aussie people. This is the place that pays tributes to those who gave their lives fighting for the people of the island and that is why this is one of the heritage places in the country. There are many people who come to this place every year and pay homage to their loved ones and the others.
