La moneda palace is the seat of the president of government of Chile in Santiago. It occupies and entire blog in Santiago and was designed by Italian architecture. The word la moneda basically means (coin) and it is also known as coin place. The coins produced in Chile took place in moneda from 1814-1929. Although some bullet marks have been preserved and can be seen nowadays. La moneda palace inner courtyard was opened for the general public for some hours of the day. It is built in neoclassical style and the building has been giving horizontal shape which conveys stability and strengths. La moneda is the only palace the structure of which is the pure Italian neoclassical style which exists in Latin America. It hosts a wide range of exhibitions on Chilean history and culture.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 18:00 hours except Saturdays and Sundays

Entry fees: there are absolutely no fee to enter this beautiful palace.
