Tupungatito is the northern most historically active volcano of the southern Andes and is located on the border between Argentina and Chile which is 99 km east of Santiago. However it was believed that the last eruption this stratovolcano was on November 1987. Tupungatito consists of various volcanic craters at the centre of it and it is the distinctive version of massive Cerro Tupungato volcano which is located in southwest. Tupungatito is around 5900 metres to 18504 around feet. This is the very interesting place to visit for the climbers but with care. And the most important thing to be noticed here is the preferable timings to visit there in the morning time, at that daylight one can enjoy fully and can have a great pleasure.
