Santiago Metropolitan Cathedral is basically located in the Plaza De Armas and the construction of this cathedral began in 1748 and ended in 1800. The Metropolitan Cathedral Of Santiago is one of the most beautiful of Spanish cathedrals but there are certain subsequent cathedrals which have been destroyed by earthquakes and fire, but the cathedral of Santiago was declared national monument in 1951 and the most important thing is that there is free admission to this cathedral and open to visitors every day except Sundays, respective timings are 9 am to 7 pm.

The cathedral has unique paintings’, decorative things and wonderful mixture of marble, bronze. It is great place to cool down on hot days. And it is one of Santiago’s main tourists’ attractions due to its special beauty and beautiful Green Park in front of it. This place is very impressive so people should visit this marvel. Opening hours: Open daily from 09:00 to 19:00 hours.
