Casa de Moral also called as House of the Moral was built in the 17th century, in the baroque mestizo style. The House is named after a 200 year old mulberry tree which is in the center of the courtyard,”mora” means mulberry hence the name. It is a large ancestral house which is a major tourist attraction. The museum has an exquisite collection of religious arts, coins, heavy furniture, antique maps, bank notes which are in English and Spanish. The house façade has many figures which are constructed from sillar, white volcanic stone, which emphasis the head of pumas with serpents in its huge mouth, several other figures like crowns, angels, shields and castles.

The House also has a splendid collection of paintings from the “Escuela Cusquena” which means Cusco school, a colonial art form. The library has more than 3000books of Hispanic literature. There is a mansion called Casa de Moral Mansion which is located between the Bolivar and Moral Street. The façade of the mansion show motives from the Nasca culture. There are some remarkable markings which make the doors and windows of the main rooms adorable. There are ornaments studded in the interior of the Spanish peninsular aurs, the historic furniture makes the rooms look more luxurious. A map of American with single detail which was drawn in the 16th century is displayed in one of the rooms.
