This is the only place in the world that defies the famous saying of “All that glitters is not gold” because here everything that shines is indeed gold. This museum started out as a private collection but presently it exhibits over 7000 pieces of jewellery, sculptures, amulets and weapons. The exhibits of the museum have been found mostly in the Republican era and acquired at the time by Miguel Mujica Gallo. It also has an excellent bookshop, and large display of military objects connected with important people from world history. There are also Audio Guide Service available in the language including English, Spanish German and French.
